Evelyn May, M.D.

Evelyn A. May, M.D., is a Board Certified diagnostic radiologist at the Tyanna O’Brien Center for Women’s Imaging at Mercy in Baltimore, Maryland. She specializes in breast imaging and uses multi-modality imaging to evaluate breast conditions such as breast pain, breast lumps and breast cysts. 

Comprehensive Breast Imaging Care

Dr. Evelyn May has extensive training and a particular focus in the early detection of breast cancer. She offers comprehensive breast care using leading edge breast cancer detection technology and imaging techniques, including:

• 3D mammograms
• Diagnostic 3D mammograms
• Breast ultrasound
• Screening and diagnostic breast MRI
• Image-guided minimally invasive breast biopsies

Dr. May works with Mercy specialists in breast surgery, medical oncology, radiation oncology and pathology to provide the best possible breast diagnosis and treatment.

Fellowship-Trained Baltimore Radiologist

Dr. Evelyn May received her medical degree from Pontificia Universidad Catolica de Chile – Santiago, Chile. She completed her Breast Imaging Fellowship and Pediatric Radiology at The Russell H. Morgan Department of Radiology and Radiological Science at The Johns Hopkins University. Dr. May has served in various breast imaging teaching roles, including Assistant Professor of Radiology in the division of breast imaging at The Russell H. Morgan Department of Radiology and Radiological Science.

She sees patients at The Weinberg Center on the Downtown Baltimore campus of Mercy Medical Center, and at Mercy Personal Physicians at Lutherville.
