As part of a special promotion, the Baltimore Sun newspaper recently conducted a readers’ poll to determine the “The Baltimore Sun’s BEST” in the following categories: Arts & Activities; Food & Drink; Home & Garden; Life & Shopping; People & Media, and Health & Lifestyle Services. In the latter category, the Gynecology practice at Mercy Personal Physicians at Lutherville was recognized by the Sun’s readers as among the best in the region. Readers’ choice winners were those receiving the most votes during an online poll conducted in March of this year. Candidates that earned top votes were honored along with critics' picks from the Sun’s editorial staff.

In posting the results of the online poll, Sun staff noted, “Think of it as the MD equivalent of trade secrets. Some of Baltimore’s top female physicians seek out the gynecologists working for Mercy Personal Physicians when they or their daughters need health care. Their doctors combine medical expertise with the ability to put patients at ease. Can there be a higher recommendation?”

Mercy gynecologist Dr. Meghan Lynch was photographed for the Baltimore Sun’s BEST special section which was distributed to more than 200,000 households in April.

“It is very gratifying to be chosen by the readers of the Baltimore Sun. Mercy Medical Center has a national reputation for women’s health, and we are pleased to carry forth that brand of top flight care to Mercy’s growing network of primary and specialty care sites, including here at Lutherville,” Dr. Lynch said. Dr. Lynch noted that in addition to herself, nurse practitioner Angela Ferrari-Walczak, WHNP, urogynecologist Dr. Mark Ellerkmann, and gynecologist Dr. Latasha Murphy offer GYN services at Lutherville.

Providing both primary and specialty care services, Mercy Personal Physicians at Lutherville is located at the corner of York and Ridgely Roads, with additional offices in Hunt Valley, MD. Medical experts and specialists in more than 20 disciplines, including women’s health, cancer, digestive health, and orthopedics, serve patients from neighborhoods across Northern Baltimore County, including Cockeysville, Hunt Valley, Monkton, Parkton, Sparks, Towson and Timonium, and even into Southern Pennsylvania.
