Ira E. Dr. Ira Hantman’s commitment to the people and community of the Baltimore region is evidenced through his educational and professional history. Dr. Hantman received his medical degree at the University of Maryland School of Medicine. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Urology and the National Board of Medical Examiners. He completed his General Surgery and Urology residencies at the University of Maryland Hospital. 

In addition, Dr. Hantman also completed a Pediatric Urology Fellowship and received a Business of Medicine Degree from the Johns Hopkins Hospital.

As part of Mercy’s team of expert urologists, Dr. Hantman continues to serve his peers as well as his patients. He is a past President of the Medical Staff at Mercy Medical Center and continues to be a member of the Baltimore City Medical Society, Medical Surgical Society of Maryland, American Urological Association, Maryland Urological Association and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
