Alain Tanbe, M.D., is a fellowship-trained, Board Certified vascular surgeon at The Vascular Center at Mercy Medical Center in Baltimore, Maryland. Dr. Tanbe treats disorders of the arteries and veins and offers comprehensive care for a broad range of vascular diseases, including peripheral artery disease, carotid artery disease, vascular blockages, diabetic vascular conditions and varicose veins. His interests include minimally invasive management of critical limb ischemia (CLI), carotid artery disease, aortic aneurysms and venous disease.

Dr. Alain Tanbe is committed to providing exceptional care to his patients. He is a Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation (RPVI), which places him among a group of distinguished experts in vascular ultrasound interpretation. As an RPVI, Dr. Tanbe evaluates the circulatory system and identifies blockages in the arteries and veins, and also detects blood clots.

Dr. Alain Tanbe is an advocate for helping people in underserved populations learn about good health practices, hygiene and disease prevention. He has participated in a medical productive camp at Aleppo University School of Medicine, Aleppo, Syria. Dr. Tanbe also has volunteered in the Emergency Department and Surgery Department at St. Louise Hospital in Aleppo.
