The Center for Restorative Therapies at Mercy provides general rehabilitative services in state-of-the-art facilities equipped with the latest technologies. Our Center offers comprehensive physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy as well as specialty services specific to various medical conditions such as lymphedema, cancer, osteoporosis and swallowing problems.

Our therapists provide preventive, evaluative and rehabilitative services for the professional, weekend or occasional athlete. We also provide services for pre- and post-surgical patients as well as people at any age who experience pain, injury or movement problems. Our licensed therapists coordinate rehabilitative services with our top rated orthopedic surgeons from The Orthopedic Specialty Hospital at Mercy who specialize in advanced foot and ankle care, joint preservation and reconstruction and complex spine disorders. Not only do our orthopedic surgeons trust their patients to the care of our therapists, but so do the specialists from Mercy’s Weinberg Center for Women’s Health and Medicine and Institute for Cancer Care.
State-of-the-Art Technologies for Rehabilitation
The Center for Restorative Therapies at Mercy offers patients some of the most innovative technologies including equipment used in the training rooms of professional sports teams. In addition to the various aerobic or strength machines, the Center is equipped with technology for gait training, balance and preprioception retraining and foot pressure evaluation.
Pre and Post-operative Rehabilitation
Patients come to The Center for Restorative Therapies at Mercy prior to orthopedic surgery to gain strength so that they will be better prepared for rehabilitation after surgery.
