Etasha Crowder, CNM, DNP is a certified nurse midwife at Mercy. Ms. Crowder received her Doctor of Nurse Practice degree in Nurse-Midwifery from Baylor University in Dallas, Texas. She completed undergraduate work in Nursing at Johns Hopkins School of Nursing.
Prior to joining Mercy, Ms. Crowder served as a certified nurse midwife in New York. She also served as a clinical nurse, caring for obstetric patients and newborns. Ms. Crowder provides obstetric services at all stages of pregnancy as well as routine gynecologic care.
During her nursing studies, Ms. Crowder was the recipient of a Research Award from the Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing following her research on support for low income breastfeeding.
Traci understood the risks of later life pregnancy, followed Dr. Atlas' advice, and was rewarded with a bundle of joy.
