Dr. John-Paul Rue is a Board Certified orthopedic sports medicine surgeon specializing in the prevention and treatment of injuries related to sports and exercise, including complex knee and shoulder reconstructions.
Inflammatory bowel disease, or IBD, includes disorders that cause inflammation of the intestines. IBD is treated at Mercy by expert gastroenterologists.
The Breast Reconstruction and Restoration Center at Mercy is led by Dr. Bernard (Bernie) Chang, and Dr. Brendan Collins -recognized specialists in breast reconstruction and restoration.
Mercy offers emergency care on the Downtown Baltimore campus 24 hours a day, 7 days a week (410-332-9477) with access to a trained emergency medicine team, diagnostic services and consultations with specialists.

Mercy Medical Center's downtown campus includes our Main Hospital - The Mary Catherine Bunting Center, McAuley Plaza and The Weinberg Center.

Aatif Hayat, M.D., MPH, is Medical Director of Business and Employee Health Services at Mercy Medical Center in Baltimore, Maryland. Board Certified in Occupational Medicine and Preventive Medicine, Dr. Hayat provides comprehensive care and consultation for a number of employer health programs in the area.
With previous experience in occupational health for the U.S. Army at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, U.S. Army Public Health Command and the Anniston Army Depot, Dr. Aatif Hayat brings a focused approach to addressing and maintaining workforce health. Dr. Hayat has a special interest in preventive occupational health and work injury/back-to-work health plans.
Dr. Aatif Hayat sees patients at both the Downtown (Baltimore City) and Lutherville (Baltimore County) locations of Mercy Business and Employee Health Services. He is a graduate of the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences with additional training from the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research.
