Dr. Shlykov sees patients and performs surgeries at The Maryland Spine Center on the Mercy Medical Center campus in Baltimore, Maryland. The Spine Center is a comprehensive spine care center with access to state-of-the-art facilities, on-site diagnostic imaging services and physical and occupational therapy. He also performs outpatient surgeries at the SurgCenter of Towson and sees patients for office visits at convenient locations throughout the Baltimore area.

Academic Excellence in Spine Surgery

Dr. Shlykov completed his Orthopedic Spine Fellowship and Orthopedic Surgery Residency training at the prestigious Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri. He received his medical degree from the University of Michigan Medical School as well as a Master’s Degree in Biology and Bioinformatics at the University of California San Diego. He has authored multiple peer-reviewed publications and book chapters, and presented his findings at national and international meetings.
