Mercy Medical Center offers a comprehensive education schedule based on a general internal medicine core curriculum through morning and noon conferences. Conferences include Morning Report, Grand Rounds, Noon Conference, Journal Club, and Morbidity and Mortality Conference.

Conferences are led by attendings, our chief resident, senior residents, and Mercy interns in an interactive, engaging format. A weekly Medical Grand Rounds features invited speakers from Mercy Medical Center, University of Maryland, Johns Hopkins, and other prominent academic centers. Journal Club, Morbidity and Mortality Conference, and Mini-Case Conference are faculty-supervised and intern-led, providing ample opportunity to engage in the role of a medical teacher.
