Behnaz Goudarzi, M.D.

Behnaz Goudarzi, M.D., is a board-certified radiologist with The Tyanna O’Brien Center for Women’s Imaging at Mercy. She specializes in breast imaging, using it to detect breast abnormalities.

Comprehensive Breast Imaging Services

To diagnose breast concerns, Dr. Goudarzi performs minimally invasive breast biopsies, such as ultrasound-guided breast biopsy, stereotactic breast biopsy and MRI-guided breast biopsy. She also interprets breast imaging studies from all modalities, including:

• Digital mammography
• 3D mammography (tomosynthesis)
• Breast MRI
• Breast ultrasound

Dr. Goudarzi completed a fellowship in breast imaging and also has well-rounded experience in other types of imaging. She completed residencies in nuclear medicine and radiology, as well as several fellowships in PET/CT.
