Lindsay Appel, M.D., is a leading physician with Baltimore OB/GYN at Mercy, an affiliate of The Family Childbirth and Children's Center at Mercy. Dr. Appel is Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and has offices located in Downtown Baltimore and at Mercy Personal Physicians in Canton.

Dr. Lindsay Appel provides women who live and work in Baltimore, Canton and the surrounding communities a full range of obstetric and gynecologic care. She treats women 18 and older for their gynecologic, prenatal, pregnancy and post-partum care. Dr. Appel also cares for women entering menopause through their post-menopause years.

Dr. Appel provides care and treatment for a wide range of conditions. She offers routine screening and exams for cervical cancer, breast disease and cancer, as well as well-woman care. Her expertise includes prenatal care, labor and delivery care and post-partum care. She also is specially trained in treating women who may experience a high-risk pregnancy.

Dr. Lindsay Appel earned her medical degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine and completed her Residency in the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences at the University of Maryland Medical Center. She received multiple awards, including recognition for excellence in teaching, and has been named a "Top Doctor" in Obstetrics by Baltimore magazine. Dr. Appel has participated in several OB/GYN research presentations at professional conferences, including the American Congress of Obstetrics and Gynecology Annual Clinical Meeting.
