Dr. Tagle provides his patients routine diagnosis and treatment for acute illnesses including pain, heartburn, fever and infection. He also offers comprehensive care for chronic disease and symptoms, providing health management and patient education. When necessary, Dr. Tagle takes advantage of his association with Mercy Personal Physicians and location within Mercy Medical Center to collaborate with fellow physicians, surgeons and specialists.

Community Role Model

Dr. Tagle not only applies his knowledge and critical thinking to the exam room, he’s also an avid chess player and shares his interest in the game with youths throughout the local community. Dr. Tagle has served as an Assistant Scoutmaster and Chess Merit Badge Counselor for Boy Scouts of America, as well as Chess Instructor and Course Leader for a local elementary school.

Dr. Tagle is Board Certified in Internal Medicine. He received his medical degree from State University of New York at Stony Brook in Stony Brook, New York and completed his Residency at University of Maryland Medical System in Baltimore.

Dr. Tagle sees patients in the McAuley Professional Office Building, McAuley Plaza, 301 St. Paul Place on Mercy’s Downtown campus. He practices with his colleagues, Mercy Primary Care Physicians Drs. R. Paul Sabundayo and Francis "Skip" Strain.
