Dr. Matthew Baron provides primary care for patients in Baltimore and Carroll Counties including Reisterstown, Pikesville, Glyndon, Eldersburg, Westminster and Finksburg. From the management of chronic conditions, such as diabetes, high blood pressure and seasonal allergies, to treatment for acute conditions, such as colds and flu, Dr. Baron is dedicated to attentive and thorough care for each of his patients.

When his patients are in need of specialty care Dr. Baron provides a coordinated approach, working closely with all members of the patient's clinical team to best manage overall health and provide education and guidance to his patient and their family when needed.

In addition to attending medical school Dr. Matthew Baron earned two Masters Degrees - in Exercise Science as well as Physiology and Biophysics. With a passion for understanding the principles and science behind keeping the human body in a state of well-being, Dr. Baron educates his patients on how to achieve and maintain physical fitness. He helps his patients understand the direct impact a healthy lifestyle can have on the ability to perform everyday tasks, both at work and at home. 

Dr. Matthew Baron has lived in the Baltimore area for many years and is proud to serve the community in which he resides. When he is not working, he enjoys playing basketball, cycling, cooking, and spending time with his family.
