The Joint Journey at Mercy -- an orthopedic program specifically dedicated to providing hip and knee replacement patients with clinical care and comfort throughout the joint replacement process – has been received the Stryker Corporation’s Center for Advanced Recovery or CARE designation.

The CARE designation was given by the Stryker Corporation based on clinical outcomes and nonclinical measures, such as patient satisfaction, surgeon engagement, overall efficiency and resource allocation within Mercy’s Joint Journey program.

Mercy is one of only three medical facilities on the East Coast to receive the CARE designation.

The Joint Journey at Mercy provides patients with the information and tools that support a stress-free recovery, emphasize wellness and assist in a return to an active lifestyle.
