Mercy Medical Center has been named to Newsweek's list of the "Most Trustworthy Companies in America 2025", the third consecutive year Mercy has been named to the annual list.

"Mercy continues to earn accolades for excellence in health care delivery and in patient care. This recognition by Newsweek is further evidence of our commitment to the mission of the Sisters of Mercy, to provide quality care to our patients in a compassionate setting," said Dr. David N. Maine, President and CEO, Mercy Health Services, Mercy Medical Center.

Newsweek partnered with Statista in a ranking that includes 700 companies in 23 industries ranging from aerospace and health care to retail and consumer goods. Mercy was one of only 33 "Health Care & Life Sciences" companies nationally to be recognized.

Rankings were determined through an independent survey of 25,000 U.S. respondents, resulting in over 100,000 evaluations that reflected the perspectives of consumers, employees and investors. The analysis also considered online media sentiment, and any company facing significant scandals or lawsuits was excluded.

Newsweek has honored Mercy in the past as one of "America's Greatest Workplaces for Women", receiving 4.5 out of 5 stars on a scored list of the top 600 companies in the U.S. for women in the workplace in 2023.

Newsweek is a premier news magazine and website that has delivered high-quality journalism to readers around the globe for more than 90 years.
