Lindsay K. Hessler, M.D., is a Board Certified surgeon with The Center for Minimally Invasive Surgery at Mercy Medical Center in Baltimore, Maryland. Dr. Hessler specializes in minimally invasive surgery, including advanced laparoscopic surgery, for conditions such as hernia (inguinal, ventral, umbilical), gallbladder disease, lipoma/soft tissue abscess and gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD).

Dr. Lindsay Hessler has advanced training in minimally invasive surgical techniques to treat a variety of acute and chronic conditions. For some patients, minimally invasive surgery may be performed in place of traditional open surgery and offer several benefits, including reduced pain and scarring in recovery, as well as shorter hospital stays.

Dr. Hessler completed specialized Fellowship training in Minimally Invasive, Foregut, and Bariatric Surgery at the University of Wisconsin. She has numerous publications and presentations to her credit, and has a particular interest in surgical education.

She sees patients at offices on Mercy’s Downtown Baltimore campus, as well as Mercy Personal Physicians at Reisterstown.
