Alan Kusakabe, M.D.

Alan O. Kusakabe, M.D., is a highly skilled urologist with The Urology Specialists of Maryland at Mercy Medical Center in Baltimore, Maryland.  He is Board Certified by the American Board of Urology and is a member of the American Urological Association, the Mid-Atlantic Section of the AUA and the Endourological Society. He received his medical degree from the SUNY Health Science Center at Brooklyn, Brooklyn, New York, where he graduated Cum Laude. Dr. Kusakabe completed his residencies in General Surgery and Urology at the University of Maryland Medical Center.

Dr. Alan Kusakabe treats a broad range of urologic diseases including prostate, bladder and kidney disorders. His expertise in minimally invasive and robotic advanced surgeries can provide patients minimal scarring and quicker recoveries from kidney and prostate diseases. He also utilizes Firefly imaging technology to help identify cancer tissue from healthy tissue with the help of integrated fluorescence imaging.
