Ann Peters, M.D.

Ann Peters, M.D., MS, is a board-certified gynecologist and surgeon with The Institute for Gynecologic Care at Mercy. She is specially trained in the care of routine and complex gynecologic conditions, including endometriosischronic pelvic pain, post-menopausal or uterine bleeding, and fibroids.  

Specialized Training in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery

The recipient of several awards during her residency and fellowship training, Dr. Peters specializes in laparoscopic surgery for the treatment of endometriosis and uterine fibroids.

Active in Research and Physician Education

Dr. Peters has been published in several major gynecology journals, including the American Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the Journal of Minimally Invasive Gynecology. Additionally, she has served as a clinical instructor in gynecology and reproductive sciences, educating numerous young residents and medical school trainees.  

Availability in Baltimore and Columbia 

Dr. Peters performs surgeries at Mercy's downtown Baltimore campus. She provides more routine gynecologic care at the Mercy Personal Physicians site in Columbia with her certified nurse practitioner. Well-woman exams can be scheduled directly with Kathryn Cervi, CRNP.
