Bridgette Hamby, RD, is a registered dietitian with The Melissa L. Posner Institute for Digestive Health & Liver Disease at Mercy. She is dedicated to helping patients achieve their optimal health, serving patients at Mercy Medical Center and Mercy Personal Physicians at Lutherville.

Bridgette brings a disciplined yet compassionate approach, focusing on the whole person rather than just their conditions. She believes in fostering an easy-to-talk-to environment, and firmly advocates for a balanced perspective on food, moving away from the concept of "good" or "bad" foods to empower sustainable, healthy eating habits.

Bridgette specializes in the anti-inflammatory diet, and has a particular interest in managing fatty liver disease, IBS, and IBD, helping patients set realistic goals, build long-term health habits and understand how nutrition influences their overall health.

Experienced Dietitian and Nutritional Care

Bridgette has a lot of experience helping people with their nutrition. She worked for five years in the U.S. Navy as a Corpsman and Surgical Technologist. Now, with more than eight years as a dietitian, she uses the knowledge to give you the best nutritional care.
