What is a Vascular Evaluation?
A vascular evaluation is performed to diagnose circulatory disorders, such as peripheral vascular disease. Artery blockages in the legs can lead to poor blood circulation in the foot and ankle. Often symptoms of vascular disease, such as pain, swelling and ulcers, can begin in the foot and ankle.
How is a Vascular Evaluation performed?
A vascular examination includes an ultrasound of the blood flow through the legs and feet.
