Vascular Laboratory Offers Diagnostic and Specialty Services
The Vascular Center at Mercy Medical Center includes a nationally accredited Vascular Laboratory. The lab offers patients a variety of vascular-related diagnostic and specialty services.
Our vascular surgeons and experienced technologists provide screenings for disorders including stroke and mini-stroke, poor circulation, leg swelling or pain and blockages. All of our technologists are nationally registered and experienced in circulatory screenings and the use of non-invasive ultrasound and Doppler Ultrasound equipment.
Our labs are located at Mercy Medical Center in Downtown Baltimore, as well as Mercy Personal Physicians locations throughout the Baltimore Metropolitan area. Multiple locations with on-site labs, detection, diagnosis and treatment planning make it convenient for patients and families throughout the greater Baltimore region.

Our Technologists
The Vascular Center’s technologists are fully certified and trained to provide patients with the most current methodologies for diagnosis and detection of circulatory problems.
As registered vascular technologists, our staff members are held to a higher standard of care. To obtain certification they must meet advanced educational requirements and submit proof of experience in clinical ultrasound and vascular interpretation.
This level of expertise allows us to offer patients the first-class quality we feel they deserve. Our technologists provide screenings at numerous locations in and around the Baltimore area for the convenience of our patients.
