In addition to the transformational gift that led to a new surgical suite, the Crane Foundation donated $1 million toward the construction of the Mary Catherine Bunting Center and has provided many special grants to sustain and expand the hospital’s Family Violence Response Program since its inception in 2000.

Catherine McAuley found herself unexpectedly wealthy in her 40s after receiving a bequest from a family for which she cared. With this inheritance, she was able to launch the projects she had long envisioned.

The Hoffberger Family Philanthropies raised $500,000 to support The Center for Women’s  Health and Medicine at Mercy, which houses The Hoffberger Breast Center that opened in 1999.

In 2007, Mary Catherine Bunting gave the largest gift in Mercy’s history to build a state-of-the-art 18-story facility which is named in her honor

Since 1991, The Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Foundation has donated $10.7 million to Mercy Health Services to support capital projects, hospice renovation efforts, and the expansion of our women’s health services with the creation of The Weinberg Center for Women’s Health & Medicine, which opened in 2003.
