Neurosurgeon Dr. Charles Park Leads New Minimally Invasive Brain & Spine Center At Mercy

Mercy Medical Center has announced the opening of The Minimally Invasive Brain and Spine Center at Mercy, effective July 1, 2015. The Center will be headed by neurosurgeon Dr. Charles C. Park, formerly of Central Maryland Neurosurgical Associates. He begins his full-time practice with Mercy Medical Center on July 1^st and will provide coverage for brain and neurological consultation in-house and in Mercy’s Emergency Department.

Dr. Charles Park is Board Certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgery and specializes in state of the art brain surgery, minimally invasive spine surgery and motion preservation surgery. He offers physician expertise in the treatment of brain tumors; bleeds, low back pain and neck pain.

Dr. Park earned his Bachelor of Science degree from M.I.T. and his medical degree/Ph.D from State University of New York at Buffalo. He completed his internship in General Surgery and his residency in Neurological Surgery at Northwestern McGaw Medical Center.

Dr. Park will see patients in Mercy’s Professional Office Building, Glen Burnie Personal Physicians, Lutherville Personal Physicians and Overlea Personal Physicians.
