The physical therapists at The Center for Restorative Therapies at Mercy help patients in their recovery using precise treatments to help them regain as much use as possible from their shoulder, elbow, wrist and hand. Patients also may require the expertise of the experienced doctors at The Center for Interventional Pain Medicine at Mercy to help relieve the pain associated with shoulder, elbow, wrist and hand conditions. The Pain Medicine specialists typically use minimally invasive and therapeutic techniques to address patient concerns and improve the level of pain a patient may experience.
Joint Journey for Shoulder Replacement Surgery
Mercy offers the Shoulder Joint Journey program for patients considering shoulder replacement or reverse shoulder replacement due to chronic and debilitating shoulder conditions. The program provides patients with the information, support and resources necessary to help patients recover more quickly and comfortably. Our team of experienced orthopedic shoulder surgeons, physician assistants, nurses and therapists are specially trained in shoulder replacement surgery and provide care and guidance before, during and after the procedure.
