David Kim, M.D.

David D. Kim, M.D., is the Director of Echocardiography at The Heart Center at Mercy in Baltimore, Maryland. He is Board Certified in Cardiovascular Disease. Dr. Kim works with patients and fellow colleagues to prevent, diagnose and treat heart disease.

Prevention and Early Detection of Cardiac Conditions

As the Director of Echocardiography, Dr. David Kim stresses the importance of prevention and early detection of cardiac disease. He works with each of his patients to develop prevention plans to help eliminate or manage leading causes of heart disease, such as smoking and high cholesterol. Dr. Kim utilizes comprehensive testing and diagnostic services, including transesophageal echocardiogram (TEE), to evaluate patients and accurately diagnose conditions in order to better address their medical needs.

Baltimore and Glen Burnie Community Cardiologist

Dr. David Kim sees patients at The Heart Center on Mercy’s Downtown campus. He also sees patients at Mercy Personal Physicians at Glen Burnie and Mercy Personal Physicians at Ellicott City, serving the communities of Glen Burnie, Severn, Pasadena, Odenton, Ellicott City, Columbia and Catonsville. Mercy’s Heart Center offers patients a team of cardiology specialists throughout the Baltimore region, providing convenient, community-based locations close to where patients live, work and shop.
