Deepa Masrani, M.D.

Deepa Masrani, M.D., is Director of The Tyanna O'Brien Center for Women's Imaging at Mercy in Baltimore, Maryland. She is a Board Certified diagnostic radiologist, Fellowship-trained in Breast Imaging in the diagnosis of breast cancer and other breast diseases and breast interventional procedures. Dr. Masrani sees patients at Mercy Medical Center in Downtown Baltimore, as well as Mercy Personal Physicians at Lutherville.

Breast Cancer and Disease Diagnosis

Dr. Masrani leads a team of dedicated radiologists committed to comprehensive management of women's breast health. She has extensive experience in all modalities of breast imaging including digital 3D mammography (tomosynthesis), breast ultrasound and MRI of the breast to diagnose and manage breast concerns including palpable breast lumps, pain and nipple discharge. She also performs clinical breast interventions including image-guided breast biopsies and pre-operative localization procedures.

Fellowship-Trained Radiologist

Dr. Deepa Masrani is an experienced physician, lecturer and clinical investigator. She is Board Certified by the American Board of Radiology. She completed multiple Fellowship programs, beginning with a Fellowship in Abdominal Imaging at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, Florida. She then completed a Fellowship in Breast Imaging at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas and a concurrent Fellowship in Breast Imaging at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas. She also served as Director of Women's Imaging Section at Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, New York from 2010 to 2014.

Dr. Masrani previously served as a Consultant Radiologist at Mercy Medical Center from 2014 to 2017 after which she was a Consultant Radiologist at Radiology Associates of South Florida in Miami.
