Mary Philip, M.D.

Mary Philip, M.D., is a Board Certified radiologist with The Tyanna O'Brien Center for Women's Imaging at Mercy in Baltimore, Maryland. Dr. Philip specializes in breast imaging and uses multi-modality imaging to evaluate breast conditions such as breast pain, breast lumps and breast cysts. She sees patients at Mercy Medical Center in Downtown Baltimore, as well as Mercy Personal Physicians at Lutherville.

Diagnosing Breast Cancer and Breast Disease

Dr. Mary Philip is Board Certified by the American Board of Radiology. She has experience in a variety of breast imaging options including:

• 3D mammography (tomosynthesis)
• Breast ultrasound
• MRI of the breast

Dr. Philip also performs clinical breast interventions including biopsies and localization procedures. 

Fellowship-Trained Radiologist

Dr. Philip completed a Fellowship in Breast Imaging at The Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland, where she also served as Assistant Professor of Radiology and Instructor of Radiology and Radiological Sciences. She also has served as Radiology Faculty Representative for the Well-Being Advisory Council. Dr. Philip is an experienced lecturer and clinical investigator on topics related to clinical radiology.
