He has served on the Board of Directors as well as Chairman of the Education committee for the American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society (AOFAS), which aims to promote quality, ethical and cost effective patient care through education, research and training of orthopedic surgeons and other health care providers. Dr. Campbell regularly hosts and lectures at various regional courses on behalf of AOFAS.

George: A Meaningful Run

On Sept. 11, 2016, ultra-marathoner George Chmiel began his 3,000 mile cross-country run from aboard the USS Midway in San Diego, CA to Ground Zero in New York City to raise funds and awareness for the Guardian for Heroes Foundation, an organization founded by “American Sniper” Chris Kyle.
