Alain Tanbe, M.D.

Alain Tanbe, M.D., is a fellowship-trained, Board Certified vascular surgeon at The Vascular Center at Mercy Medical Center in Baltimore, Maryland. Recognized by his peers as a "Top Doctor" in Baltimore magazine, Dr. Tanbe treats disorders of the arteries and veins and offers comprehensive care for a broad range of vascular diseases, including peripheral artery disease, carotid artery disease, vascular blockages, diabetic vascular conditions and varicose veins. His interests include minimally invasive management of critical limb ischemia (CLI), carotid artery disease, aortic aneurysms and venous disease.

Special Training in Vascular Ultrasound Interpretation

Dr. Alain Tanbe is committed to providing exceptional care to his patients. He is a Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation (RPVI), which places him among a group of distinguished experts in vascular ultrasound interpretation. As an RPVI, Dr. Tanbe evaluates the circulatory system and identifies blockages in the arteries and veins, and also detects blood clots.

He has participated in a medical productive camp at Aleppo University School of Medicine, Aleppo, Syria. Dr. Tanbe also has volunteered in the Emergency Department and Surgery Department at St. Louise Hospital in Aleppo.
